Following Distance Indicator
Don’t be a tailgater. With this feature, GMC helps you maintain a safe driving distance by displaying the gap time in seconds between you and the vehicle you’re following.
Front Pedestrian Braking
Front Pedestrian Braking helps you safely share the road with pedestrians and cyclists. This system works similarly to Automatic Emergency Braking. It continuously monitors the area around your GMC vehicle and alerts you when a pedestrian or cyclist is passing in front of your vehicle. If you do not stop in time, the system will automatically engage the brakes to prevent a collision.
IntelliBeam®
IntelliBeam® makes nighttime driving easier with automatic high-beam headlights that toggle on and off based on traffic conditions.
GMC Pro Safety Plus builds on the Pro Safety suite and adds Lane Changing Alert, which gives you a visual heads-up if a vehicle is lingering in your blind spot, reducing the chances of an accident when you are changing lanes. It also adds Rear Cross Traffic Alert, which alerts you when a vehicle is passing behind you, and Rear Park Assist, which gauges the distance between your rear bumper and objects in the vicinity and gives you an audible warning if you are getting too close.
